Umbria will be present at the 'Fa' La Cosa Giusta!' fair to be held in Milan from 22 to 24 March 2024. The fair of critical consumption and sustainable lifestyles is the reference point in Italy for sustainable tourism, walking, cycling and outdoor activities.

Two meetings are scheduled within the 'piazza grandi cammini' space:

- On Friday 22 March 2024 at 1 p.m., as part of the "Viaggio Italiano" National Promotion Plan, there will be the presentation of the "Cammini Aperti" project, the national event dedicated to those who love Italy's paths/trails. 

- Later the same day, at 4.30 p.m., there will be a presentation of projects and initiatives linked to slow tourism and financed through the 'Umbriaperta 2023' call for proposals promoted by the Umbria Region and managed by Sviluppumbria. The meeting, entitled: "Umbria, the green heart of the Cammini d'Italia", will be an opportunity to illustrate the outdoor festivals "Umbria Primavera in Cammino" and "Alla scoperta di Assisi e del Monte Subasio".

Umbria Primavera in Cammino, the evolution of the project/event born from the collaboration between public bodies and associations, realised over five weekends from April to May 2023 and dedicated to 5 parts of the territory comprising 21 municipalities in southern Umbria, with 5 important influencers of the Italian walks. The most significant results concerned the path towards accessibility and inclusion as well as the promotion and involvement of six Umbrian Cammini.

Assisi, heart of the Umbrian Cammini. Concerts, shows, walks to discover nature, art and culture for the enhancement of the territory. During the event "Discovering Mount Subasio", more than 20 appointments including emotional excursions, walks for children, outdoor yoga. Flagship event "Ascent to the Mount", with walks and concerts in the Subasio Park, with the Ensemble Micrologus. The programme will be previewed by the Municipality of Assisi. Present at the meeting will be: Stefania Proietti - Mayor of Assisi, Fabrizio Leggio - Assessore alle Politiche Turistiche e Promozione del Territorio del Comune di Assisi, Giulio Proietti Bocchini - Ufficio Turismo e Marketing territoriale del Comune di Assisi.
