Mount Subasio, whose summit reaches 1,290 m above sea level, is a spectacular flying site in the skies over Assisi. Due to its somewhat remote location, it is well suited for flights at altitudes above 2,000 m above sea level.
The flight site has five take-off points, descending, on the north, east, south and west sides and two landings that are easily reached by car or shuttle bus.
If the weather conditions are favourable, flying over Assisi with a view of Lake Trasimeno and the Apennines in the distance will be a breathtaking experience.
