This package tour includes accommodation in a 3* hotel with breakfast included, a free visit to Assisi and Perugia and two spectacular trekking/trekking experiences: hike on Mount Subasio from Assisi to Spello with lunch in Collepino and trekking to discover the springs, waterfalls. and caves of the Menotre Valley with lunch in Pale and a visit to Rasiglia with a guide.

Contract terms

Booking procedure:

30% deposit at booking and balance 25 days before departure.

If it is impossible to travel due to government restrictions caused by the Covid, the deposit will be returned to you.

If there are other reasons for cancellation not imposed by government regulations, the deposit will not be returned.

  • Expert trekking guide for half a day;

  • Suggested programme of visits with itineraries and advice.
What is not included

Tips, transfers, sojourn taxes to be paid locally and everything not mentioned in 'the tourist package includes'.

HIKING MONTE SUBASIO FROM ASSISI TO SPELLO WITH LUNCH

From Assisi to Spello, trekking on Mount Subasio; a wonderful panoramic route to admire beautiful hermitages, unspoilt nature, breathtaking green landscapes and medieval villages. Starting from the meeting point in Santa Maria degli Angeli, you will continue the hike until you reach Assisi, the town of St. Francis of Assisi, where your guide will accompany you on a walk through the town's alleys. Afterwards, you will continue on to Collepino, visit this small village, and then continue on to the beautiful ancient town of Spello. Lunch included (packed lunch or lunch in a local restaurant).

Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

TREKKING TO THE MENOTRE VALLEY - LUNCH - VISIT TO RASIGLIA

After breakfast we head for the Menotre valley, just 20 minutes from Assisi. With a guide, we will visit a hermitage protected by the rugged rock, a sanctuary that is breathtakingly beautiful. Together with the guide, we will have a beautiful trekking experience of about 1 ½ hours where we will reach springs, waterfalls and caves. Together we will reach the village of Pale where a delicious lunch in a typical restaurant based on the specialities of our land awaits you.

Umbria is also the region of ancient villages. On the second stage of this excursion we will visit one of the jewels of the region: Rasiglia, the village of torrents. The town, which preserves the typical characteristics of a medieval village by gathering in an amphitheatre-like structure, is famous for its springs: strolling through the charming alleys of the town centre, it is impossible not to be enchanted by the streams that flow through the town, making it unique and fascinating.

Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

This day you will have free time to visit the capital of Umbria, Perugia, to stroll along its beautiful alleys, to visit its most important historical sites, and to sample the delicacies offered by the bars and pubs of Corso Vannucci. Lunch not included.
