Arrival at a particular bakery near Bevagna.

In this bakery, we will have the opportunity to see the entire production chain: the wheat produced by the farm is harvested and stored in external fibreglass silos suitable for foodstuffs and preserved from handling and ventilation. It is then milled with stone grinders to obtain flour. Once the bread dough is ready, they bake it in a wood-fired oven and finally sell it in the farm's lovely little shop. Their aim is to offer a high quality product to their customers. It is a unique cereal farm in Italy. Eating this bread you can taste the true flavour of wheat.

After visiting the bakery, we go to an oil mill that produces excellent extra virgin olive oil. Here you will have the opportunity to see the difference between the old and new techniques used in the production of olive oil.Light lunch at the oil mill based on local products.

We leave the oil mill and move on to Spello, just 10 minutes away.

Spello is the perfect blend of Roman and medieval architecture. Still surrounded by walls, the town is full of Roman ruins that testify to the importance of the city at that time.

Still surrounded by walls, the city is full of Roman ruins that testify to the importance of the city at that time. Every year, on the occasion of the religious feast of Corpus Christi, the streets of Spello are decorated with beautiful paintings depicting religious scenes made with flower petals and other natural materials. The tradition of the so-called 'Infiorata' began around 1930.Enjoy a visit to a small but cosy brewery located right in the centre of the village in a medieval house. The brewery has a small - about 18 hectolitres of beer per month - but excellent production: it is characterised by the use of so-called 'forgotten fruits', such as carob, medlar, figs, elder flowers, etc., which give the beer a special and unique taste. Find out how the beers are produced and taste them together with an appetising platter of local cold meats and cheeses.
