Day 3 | Bosco di San Francesco and wine tasting in the cellar

A morning in Assisi to be spent in the midst of nature and silence.Entrance to the Bosco Sacro di San Francesco, a FAI heritage site, 64 hectares of nature, including woodland and cultivated fields, pink stone walls, clearings and olive groves, at the foot of the Basilica of San Francesco.Climbing to the top of an ancient 14th-century tower, one can admire the "Third Paradise", the work of land art created with 121 olive trees by the master Michelangelo Pistoletto. The invitation is to walk along the serpentine path between the rows of olive trees and thus become part of this work that contains a proposal for reflection on the possible serene coexistence between man and nature, here symbolised by the third sphere.
