Join us for the most beautiful hot air balloon ride in the world! Live an exceptional experience in the Assisi valley, just a two-hour drive from Rome and Florence. Arrive at the meeting point

We will meet at Cantina Dionigi early in the morning (approx. 6:30am). Please note that the appointment time varies as the sun rises. Therefore, the exact time will be communicated to you the evening before the flight.

Orientation and safety

Before the balloon ride, Captain Peter will give you an orientation talk and safety briefing.

Take off

Then, you will be ready to climb into the basket of the hot air balloon together with your fellow adventurers. And immediately you will begin to float through the air.

Fly

During the approximately one-hour flight, you will enjoy the view of the Umbrian hills dotted with medieval villages of immortal charm, while Captain Peter will tell you stories and anecdotes about the magical landmarks.

Land

Towards the end of the flight, Captain Peter will find a good landing spot and bring the balloon back down to earth. You will then exit the basket and return to the Dionigi Winery.

Breakfast and wine tasting

The fun will continue in the Cantina Dionigi, where you will receive a glass of Prosecco, as per tradition, and a breakfast in perfect Umbrian style, as well as a Sagrantino wine-tasting experience. You can stay as long as you like, tasting sensational wines and visiting the cellar.
