The guided tour moves inside the city, following in the footsteps of Francis and Clare: the Basilica of St Clare, the birthplace and oratory of St Francis Piccolino up to the Basilica of St Francis with its two overlapping churches built over the saint's tomb. Here, a careful visit will be made to discover the precious frescoes that make Assisi a fundamental stop in the history of Italian art: Giotto, Cimabue, Simone Martini, Lorenzetti are among the most famous artists who worked to celebrate Saint Francis.
