GUIDED TOUR OF ORVIETO WITH LUNCH - UNDERGROUND ORVIETO

Orvieto is an ancient city of Etruscan origin that, from the top of the tufa cliff on which it stands, dominates the valley of the Paglia river. A beautiful place to visit with a unique history dating back millions of years. In the morning we will take a walk through the historical centre of Orvieto and visit the majestic Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, better known as the 'Duomo', a magnificent masterpiece of Gothic and Romanesque architecture, one of the most important in Europe . Another symbol of the city itself, just a few steps away from a breathtaking viewpoint, is St Patrick's Well, a spectacular piece of 16th century engineering.

Afterwards, a delicious typical Umbrian lunch in a local restaurant.

After lunch, we will take a guided tour of Orvieto Sotterranea and discover the city beneath a city. The guided tour of Orvieto Sotterranea is the best way to get in touch with this very special cultural aspect of a city rich in history and artistic gems. Step by step, mysterious and fascinating echoes speak of the Etruscan Velzna, while ghosts of the medieval and Renaissance city emerge from the damp shadows. Where the winding underground route runs parallel to the cliff, from panoramic openings the day contends in the darkness with a succession of tunnels, stairways, unexpected passages and overlapping rooms.

PERUGINA CHOCOLATE HOUSE - GUIDED TOUR OF PERUGIA WITH LUNCH & KARTING WITH APERITIF

In the morning, we visit the Perugina Chocolate House, located inside the renowned Perugina Chocolate Factory. A magical place to taste fine chocolate and enjoy a rich collection of pictures, labels, posters, gift boxes and special antique machines for producing chocolate and its most famous product, the kiss.

After the sweet visit to the Perugina Chocolate House, we will head to the historical centre of Perugia for a guided tour of the city. Perugia, the capital of Umbria, is worth a visit not only for the beauty of its hilltop location, but also for its beautiful ancient buildings. Together with the guide, we will have a beautiful trekking experience of about 1 ½ hours where we will reach springs, waterfalls and caves. Together we will reach the village of Pale where a delicious lunch in a typical restaurant based on the specialities of our land awaits you.

Foligno is a beautiful, colourful and lively town located in a 'strategic' position in the centre of Umbria. After entering the city walls, it will be natural to follow the ancient gates and walk along Foligno's main street to the Duomo, which has an unusual neoclassical-baroque style and is located in Piazza della Repubblica.

Around 5.30 p.m. we will reach a craft brewery in Foligno to learn, thanks to a guide, everything about the beer production process from the selection of malts to bottling and the final stage of fermentation. Delicious aperitif and tasting at the end of the experience.
