POGGIO DEGLI OLIVI is the ideal starting point for discovering the artistic riches and spiritual sobriety of the most interesting Umbrian towns, along a route made up of kilometres of nature cutting through hills, villages and olive groves.
The Relais has rooms and flats immersed in the tranquillity and lush greenery typical of the Umbrian hills. In keeping with the style of the Relais, the rooms have names that refer to the flowers and plants of the surrounding landscape. Poggio degli Olivi, which has been recognised as a five-spear farmhouse, offers its guests a new, perfectly equipped multi-purpose tennis court and in summer you can relax in the beautiful, large salt-water swimming pool with 4 two-seater hydromassage stations, foot massage, a relaxation beach with a soft touch bottom and an infinity edge with a breathtaking view of Assisi combined with the beneficial effect of the relaxation corner with a sensory garden...a new pool concept dedicated exclusively to the well-being and relaxation of our guests.
In both restaurants, the main ingredient is genuineness due to the use of many products from the Azienda Agraria and the Frantoio: Cinta Senese cured meats, reared in the wild on the farm, wines, honey, some vegetables and fruit, but above all the excellent Extra Virgin Olive Oil, precious fruit of the more than 6000 olive trees on the Poggio. Undisputed protagonists of the territory, the olive trees of this area produce precious fruit from which an excellent extra virgin olive oil is obtained, a real olive juice. Honoured by its unparalleled view, the "LA VERANDA" restaurant(for ceremonies and events) offers traditional regional cuisine with small innovative variations that result in dishes capable of satisfying even the most demanding palates. The "DIVIN PORCELLO" tavern, with its ambience full of traditional conviviality, is a synthesis of national Slow Food culture and typical regional cuisine. The continuous search for quality has slowly led to a very careful selection of the most valuable products of our territory. Meats of prized breeds, raised strictly in the old-fashioned way: Chianina, Limousine and Black Angus, cooked on the grill and served on heated soapstone; homemade pasta with special formats such as tonnarelli, homemade Cinta Senese cured meats served on cutting boards carved from the precious wood of the Poggio's olive trees, soups with recipes from the best country tradition based on seasonal ingredients, and to conclude, mouth-watering desserts, parfaits and mousses.
