Your guide will welcome you in the hotel lobby for a full-day guided tour of Assisi. Stroll along the main street admiring handmade ceramics, medieval weapons and religious sculptures. Be sure to stop at the delicatessens to sample regional specialities such as Umbrian cold cuts, dried pasta and Umbrian chocolates. A visit to the Franciscan sites outside the medieval city is included: the Hermitage of the Carceri and San Damiano with the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli and the Porziuncola at the end. At the end, visit and wine tasting in a wine cellar. Selection of 5 wines ,Bruschetta with extra virgin olive oil Artisanal Pecorino cheese, Caciotta with truffles, Lentils from Castelluccio di Norcia, Chickpea and sun-dried tomato salad, Typical Umbrian cured meats, Artisanal Porchetta from Costano, Torta al testo, Traditional Umbrian sweets.
La mattina sarete accolti dalla vostra guida nella hall dell'hotel alle 8.30. Inizierete la mattinata visitando Spoleto. Nel pomeriggio visita con guida in inglese a Spello e visita della Villa dei Mosaici, un tesoro archeologico eccezionale per ricostruire la storia antica della città. Unico nel suo genere, il sito archeologico di età imperiale conserva ancora raffinati mosaici e tracce di affreschi e stucchi. Al termine visita e degustazione di vini in una cantina .Assaggi di bruschette con olio extravergine di oliva. Torta al testo farcita con salame o assaggi di pecorino e salame.
Day 3 In the morning, you will be welcomed by your guide in the hotel lobby at 9.30 am. Afterwards, a cooking lesson with a farmer's cook dedicated to traditional Umbrian pastas prepared with the farm's organic flours. THE COURSE INCLUDES: work kit, ingredients for the cookery class, tasting of the dishes made with explanations on combinations, sending of the recipe book of the pastas made via web. The tasting includes products from the organic farm and the dishes prepared with water n/f, glass of wine, coffee. Subsequent visit to Bevagna, the Civic Museum with archaeological finds and a rich historical-artistic collection; the 13th-century Palazzo dei Consoli, which houses the 19th-century theatre by Francesco Torti with its elegant decorations; the late 13th-century Church of S. Francesco; the 13th-century Church of S. Silvestro; the 12th-13th-century palazzi and S. Silvestro; the 12th-13th century Church of St. Michael Archangel; the Thermal Building (evidence of Roman daily life) with mosaics from the 1st century AD. Visit and tasting at the oil mill Bruschetta mixed with oil, tomato (or mushrooms) and chickpea sauce; - Mixed cold cuts + locally produced pecorino cheese; - Mineral water and Montefalco red wine.
