The central ring that unites some of the most famous historical centers of the region: Assisi, Spello, Foligno, Bevagna, Montefalco, Spoleto, Todi, Perugia. The route, despite some long flat stretches, is challenging because it reaches and crosses the squares and the most significant points of interest of all the historic centers that, except Foligno and Bevagna, are perched on the heights. The ring runs clockwise. From Montefalco to Spoleto the Assisi Spoleto cycle route is used. The rest of the route is on secondary roads with little traffic and with a discrete background. The crossing of Perugia is difficult, but it's worth it because you have the chance to visit it better by bike than by any other means. TOT. 208 KM - DISL. 2888 MT
